Local Housing Counseling Agency Designation Expands Reach and Services

October 20, 2025; Westville, NJ --- The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) recently designated the Financial Wellness Institute as a HUD-approved Local Housing Counseling Agency (LHCA). This approval affirms the organization’s ongoing mission to provide housing counseling services as part of its community well-being and wealth-building strategies and services.

As an LHCA, Financial Wellness Institute will guide clients on a range of housing needs, from rental and homeless to pre-purchase homebuyer education and financial literacy. Its comprehensive Housing Counseling Services include:
